Zomi community in Melbourne celebrates the 77th of Zomi national day in Melbourne, Victoria. The Zomi people, also known as Chin, Kuki, or Lushai, are an ethnic group indigenous to the Chin Hills region of western Myanmar, bordering India and Bangladesh.

The Zomi people constitute the largest population within Myanmar's Chin State, and their dialect is the most widely spoken among the Chin population worldwide.

The event was organized by the Zomi community in Melbourne and attended by representatives from the National Unity Government (NUG), Victoria Arakan Association, Kachin Association, and Thadou Community Australia.

This celebration is a meaningful occasion to honor the cultural heritage, history, and identity of the Zomi people.
